Our policy

Our foals will sell with a current coggins for out of state purchasers and up-to-date on vaccines and wormer and farrier. We will also provide a health certificate for out-of-state buyers.  Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.  Horses sell AS IS.  

You are welcome to come meet the mares and foals and stallion, to see if they fit your needs.  Be sure you are completely satisfied with the horse BEFORE you buy or put down a deposit as ALL SALES ARE FINAL, except in the event of catastrophic injury or death due to our negligence before the foal leaves our premises.  In that instance, we will refund the deposit.  Please be sure you are emotionally, physically, and financially able to care for a weanling.  They do have differences from an adult horse.

foal must stay for 14 days for personal check to clear, PRIOR to pick-up.   We have a purchase agreement that will be mailed out to you to be signed and returned with the 20% down payment.

Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.  LOCAL buyers may arrange delivery with seller prior to purchase.

Please understand a deposit holds your foal, once a deposit is received, your foal is removed from the for sale list, therefore, your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.. (with the exception of the catastrophic injury or death)

Vet checks are welcome.  This is YOUR expense, whether you purchase or not.

We have no hidden fees and there is no charge for boarding the foal until it is weaned.  We will discuss boarding fees for foals here for more than 30 days after weaning.

The purchase agreement will be sent out after the foal is born, to be signed and returned with the 20% down payment. A personal check is fine for the initial deposit.  A cashiers check is requested, or cash, if picking up in person.  If using a commercial shipper, a personal check must be sent in plenty of time to clear before foal leaves the premises.  

 All foals will be registered. ( usually with the FHH, but as of 2026, we are using the IDSHR, until such time as the FHH gets their crap together, and starts returning registrations and transfers in a timely manner. All will be DNA verified and be micro-chipped with an approved for competition chip.  Upon receipt of final payment, seller will execute all documents necessary for transfer.  Transfer will be the responsibility of the buyer, as is payment of any transfer fees.

For 2027, we are offering in utero contracts. A price range for the expected foal will be given, with the final price to be decided on after birth, no less than the low estimate, no more than the high end estimate. Conformation, disposition and color will all be factored into the final price. We ask for 20% of the low end estimate, to hold your in-utero foal, until birth. No guarantees on sex or markings, other than homozygous things, like roan or tobiano. If the mare does not carry, or foal is not saleable, your deposit will be refunded or put towards another foal, your choice. Please feel free to contact us with any questions!
